Liquids, Gels and Aerosols

Liquids, gels, and aerosols include beverages, shampoo, suntan lotion, creams, perfumes, colognes, toothpaste, hair gel, hair spray and other items of similar consistency

Passenger is not permitted to have any liquid, gel and/or aerosol in the cabin baggage except those, which are in containers of 3,4 oz (100 ml) capacity or less per container.

All containers must be placed by passenger within ONE clear transparent completely closed/sealed 1 quart (1 litre) size plastic bag .  The plastic bag is subjected to x-ray inspection SEPARATE from the passenger’s cabin baggage.

Passenger may have also the items listed below:

-  baby formula/milk (to include breast milk) and baby food/juice in containers, if a baby or small child is travelling;

-  medications (liquid, gels, and/or aerosol);

-  liquids (to include juice) or gels for diabetic or other medical needs.

The containers’ capacity for such items may exceed 3,4 oz (100 ml). They may be also transported not within 1 quart (1 litre) plastic bag. But, the passenger must declare such items at the screening checkpoint and to explain the need for transportation of the items at passenger cabin.

Carriage of liquids, gels and/or aerosols in hold baggage is not limited.

You can buy liquids (drinks, perfumery) in the shops of airport, that are after the security check-points or aboard an airplane.

Such goods should be packed in the special sealed transparent plastic bag with the receipt. The receipt for purchase of liquids (drinks, perfumery) must be placed inside the sealed bag with the face (printed side) visible from the outside. Do not open the sealed bag if you trip includes more then one airport. In case of opening the sealed bag all liquids will be confiscated.

Also, it is necessary to remember that the use of alcohol drinks aboard an aircraft is forbidden. An exception is the drinks offered to the passengers by a crew.

Lighters and Matches

TSA (flights to ) does not allow passengers to carry any lighters in cabin baggage. At the same time, you may have up to 4 boxes of safety matches (except strike-anywhere matches) in your cabin baggage, but any matches are prohibited in hold baggage.
